In case this might help someone who is having the problem with the Ethernet
side dying: I left NMS running all night with logging enabled hoping to
keep my units alive. I lost contact with one of them a few minutes ago (the
one we had to reset 8 times yesterday to get it back up). I started pinging
the hell out of it the second NMS said it was down and I now have
re-established contact with it. I don't know for how long. But if I have
to leave the constant ping running until I get my replacement units, then I
will. Has anyone else tried this?

Hope this might help someone,
Gloria
