I have the D-Link DSS-8+ switch.  According to the manual, when a device is
first plugged in the switch determines if the device is 10 or 100 and full
or half duplex and sets that port accordingly.  Therefore, the port speed
would not change unless that device is unplugged from that port.  Also, all
of my airPoints are plugged into the same switch and one of them is not
having any problems at all.  I am not arguing, just pointing out facts.  I
don't think the switch has anything to do with this particular problem.
