Thats why we give each radio its own private IP for management The radio should be acting as a bridge and let your DHCP request continue back to your server. Something else is going on there..

It switches between being a client and being an access point. When it "goes to sleep" I can't get to it from the client computer (that could be normal because I lose my dhcp lease). If I ping the repeater from the access point side the first batch of 4 fail and the second batch go through and the repeater "wakes up".
