I been running pppoe without any problems with MT works like a charm.

What I don't understand is why you say you started to play with DHCP
and the PPPoE ? Do you mean DHCP-server ? If so that is not how you
give dynamic ips with pppoe but rather you use the profile and asign
it to pick a remote-ip from one of your ip pool's.

If you want create a export of your configuration and send it to me
and I can take a look of it to see what your not doing right.
