Wayland,
You must be using airPoints (cb mode) on the client or the very old
airBridge firmware.  Because the most recent airBridge firmware appends
the airBridge MAC address to the client's IP address.  Therefore, only
the MAC of the airBridge shows up at both the aPPo and the arp table
within your gateway.

I am not sure why you say that we can't see the actual PC MAC. On my set
up
we are seeing the PC MAC and successfully assign IP addresses to them
using
DHCP. The firmware in the AP is 1.4j.6

Can you explain further?
