Hi Carl,
If possible could you please try
using bit higher gain antenna at the AP (assuming 14dbi at the AP) like 19dbi
or 24 dbi OR either increase the height of the antenna (above the tree level)
or rotate(polarization) the
antenna to 30 degree towards the CPE and gradually bring up into higher
degree. At the same time you can try the same procedure at the CPE side
also.
It is essential that the antennas
connected to the AP and Clients are in line of sight without any obstruction.
IF still the RSSI value not
improved, then it might be necessary to move the CPE to the new location and
re adjust to POLORIZATION, DIRECTIVITY OR DOWNTILT to reduce the noise level.
Kind regards,
Seeni

Link values
I have 14db1 90* corner and an
24dbi grid.
I am on channel 6 and I do have
people I have to talk to (walmart and a company doing a point to point) They
are on channel one and 11.

[smartBridges] RSSI & Link values
Hi Carl,
The low RSSI means, perhaps due
to the channel interference. Please select the site survey option from the
CPE and see if there is any other AP is running with nearby channels. The
RSSI value may affects due to noise (SNR) and interference. This value can
be improved by aligning the polarization or directivity of the antenna to
reduce the noise level. Sometimes if there is high level of noise from the
other transmitters (out of band) nearby the AP or CPE location may lower
down the RSSI value of the CPE.
Please let us know what type of
antenna you are using on both ends along with the some information regarding
the distance between the two links.
Thank you
Kind regards,
Seeni

I am assuming
interference.
