What happens when a customer has multiple PC's and no router and just a hub
and you give them multiple public IP's? I know there are a few people out
there doing this?
I think they should all have some kind of router..

Agreed. Doesn't really make sense why it should fail, normally when a device
changes MAC address - the ARP table is updated to reflect this change,
usually you get a notifaction (in *NIX) that it thought that IP X was
associated to MAC Y, but now it appears IP X is associated with MAC Z, but
that's it. Seemlessly makes the changes, which makes sense as in DHCP'd
enviroments the same IP could be linked to loads of different MAC's over
time. It may just be going nuts or something, and failing to update or
partially updating the ARP table with the new IP, so all packets get
directed to either the old MAC, or into a totally invalid address? Maybe
it's all stemming from this 64MACS-->1IP Mapping, maybe it would be nice to
have the option to forcefully limit the device to only ever have one MAC
associated with an IP - just like cable modems. That way, the client can
either connect only 1 PC to the smartBridge, or one router to share the
connection - and it alleviates any confustion in the mapping issues.
