I think this is done by the evolution project which has the evolution data server for contact information.[1] That server will allow any program to share addressbook information and is even used by empathy to exchange information on instant messaging contacts etc. This also provides calender management and webcal access.
The only thing you can probably complain about is that it is not "little", so I'm going to see if I can get that running and working with a dialer app. I hope it is going to be as simply as "apt-get install evolution-data-server python-gnome2-desktop" and then start working with it ;) Bram [1] http://www.go-evolution.org/EDS_Architecture On Thu, 2009-01-29 at 14:45 +0100, Michele Renda wrote: > I am speaking only as server, a little server that contains all the > PIM > info (contact list entry) to share it to all the applications! _______________________________________________ Smartphones-userland mailing list Smartphones-userland@linuxtogo.org http://lists.linuxtogo.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/smartphones-userland
