CS3 generally works with Snow Leopard, it's just Adobe's official word that it's unsupported because they don't want to devote the resources to testing it fully when they can just push CS4. I haven't seen any problems using CS3 on any machines with Snow Leopard, not to say that there could be problems but I haven't seen any.
