pool...there are cases all the time that prosecutor's bring against people that
will enhance their career. This is the kind of case that will make or
break him, maybe he's willing to take a gamble.

The prosecutions witness testified that he (the investigator) was dubious that rape occurred based on his experience as a law enforcement officer.
so if theres no evidence then why wuld they try to bring it to trial? the prosecutor would be a laughing stock trying to get a case tried with no evidence. no political aspirations in that
