That is tough.... 40 lbs. is a lot... I have carried a 20 lb turkey a mile and that was
a bitch. *IF* the "large pebble" was bad enough... I would undoubtadly still choose
the pack... My feet are something that I take very seriously... I sometimes change
my socks three times a day...
