Ed Berris mentioned the Richter R/C Aircraft design Weasel-pro as his favorite, but ours is the brand new Alula (al'-you-la) from Richter.

We wrote a glowing review of this lightweight EPP foam glider for RC Soaring Digest <http://www.dream-flight.com/instruction_files/AlulaRCSD.pdf>, but we must say we're even more enthusiastic about the Alula now.

We've flown our Alula at 60 Acres and shared the transmitter with a bunch of SASS members, and all were impressed. It's routinely flown within the confines of the forest which surrounds our home, and in our granddaughter Alyssa's back yard. It's maneuverable enough to attempt slope flying off house roofs, and turns tight enough to mingle with bug-catching swallows in small low thermals. It's the perfect park flyer.

We have several hundred flights on our single model at this point, and it still looks and flies great. The more we fly it the more we like it! And it $45, it's less expensive than the Weasel-pro.

You can find out more about Alula by going to <http://www.dream-flight.com/alula.html>.
