Agreed, the friends and camaradarie, the view, the incredible wildlife out on a slope ridge, the weather changes, all roll together to make soaring the number one enjoyment for me amongst the R/C disciplines.
If I had to choose aircraft which generate the most bang for the buck, it is those that go the fastest!
