DS-Lite for mobility has been discussed in our draft:
http://tools.ietf.org/id/draft-sarikaya-softwire-dslitemobility-01.txt
this draft needs to be updated but we were lazy to do so :-).

GI DS-Lite assumes an unmodified core so it works well with GTP like mobility 
protocols. There are other things but I don't know if it is worth discussing 
them.
