Ah, come on. Two of our top three logos contain mail envelopes, the other
an at. Don't ask me which symbol has used more but in my eyes both are
"worn out" equally. Or not at all, depends on your interpretation.

To me the arrow one has already yet "worn out". I dunno, I just don't
really like it. Maybe it's because the other ones look a bit more "active"
to me, at least more than the static horizontal arrow from left to right.
The logo is also not really better than the others just because it contains
the Apache feather; to me the (colourful) feather doesn't really fit into
any of the logos -- I also preferred Michael's old concept without the
feathers.
(/me thinks a moment about feathers)
Actually, there was one logo submission which used the feather in a great
way: 1.0.48 by Rick Robinson. I liked the idea to focus on the action of
tagging a mail (via writing on it with the apache feather), instead of
killing it. But the rest of the logo wasn't really my taste.
Michael, maybe you can steal Rick's idea use the feathers for tagging
instead of sticking them into the envelopes? :) (Rick, if you read this,
don't get the "steal" wrong, if we chose that version later on, you would
of course be mentioned, too.)
Oh, and another suggestion how the apache feather could be included in
Walter's version: The original "main logo" had a shaded shuriken in
behind, maybe if that was replaced (or introduced in the new versions)
being the feather (shaded, not in the original colourful style), it would
look prety cool.

And I don't think the arrow will be my first choice, but hey, if it's chosen
in the end I can live with it :)
Cheers,
Malte
