MY suggestion (hopefully others may add to it)
Am also interested in the or a solution
Make sure their are no bugs (advise your upstream of a once only confirm
email address is taking place) expect flak spammers have made it hard for
legitimate operations. So test run your "Spam" run first and file a SpamCop
abuse report to see where its going to go to (you do not have to send it)
If any flak comes from SpamCop you should be able to mark yourself innocent
with a "NOTE" explaining that this is a genuine once only posting to clear
out those who do not wish to be on your mailing list
your upstream needs to be notified (It won't work a second time)
Perhaps something like this needs to be on letterhead (I plagiarized it from
some almost spam sent a while ago)
