This is a little off this topic, but it reminded me of something I've
been wondering for a while. I often see advice to forward your spam to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] (for example, from combat.uxn.com).

Does anyone know what's really done with that mail? Does anyone count it
or does it just get ignored and thrown out?

And there's a turbulent moon-ridden girl
 or old woman, or both,
dressed in opals and rags, feathers
and torn taffeta, who knows strange songs
                         but she is not kind.
