When I replaced my battery on the IDPROM, I followed the
instructions on the www.squirrel.com page below. For an
Etnernet address I used the Sun prefix and made up the rest.
Like this: 08:00:20:xx:xx:xx, where xx:xx:xx is the part I made
up. I suppose this isn't a perfect solution, but since your not
leaving your office, I would see no problem.
