Tom D. has a good idea for all drum drips. Here in Colorado it is very important to know if your air compressor draws air from the garage space or the Mechanical room, or some other conditioned space. Much like freezers, parking garages see below zero temps frequently in the winter. (Sometime fordays or weeks at a time) We suggest that our customers, pipe their air supply from the un-heated space just like a freezer, and check their drum drips weekly during cold weather. Using Tom D's suggestion this could be less frequently.

Subject: Drum drip (condensate trap) maintenance in dry system

We have a recently-installed dry system in a garage in Colorado. Would
like to know if we need to do any maintenance on the drum drips - is
there any sort of standard on how often these should be checked/drained,
if at all?

Thanks -
-Robert.-
