Actually you can create any remote area shape you'd like, and individually
assign areas of coverage of various sizes for each head. The biggest area
we've ever calc'd with it was 5000 Sf and the spacing wasn't symmetrical,
just that the smallest area of coverage for an individual sprinkler head was
80 Sf and the largest 120. Yeah the system overflowed quite a bit, but what
you gona do.

dividing the size by the number of heads. I quit looking at it as a
serious program at that point. Actually I heard they dropped their
hydraulic program. They are mechanical engineers and that is the focus
of their primary software.
As a stand alone (non-cad) program what else is out there? I am aware of
(and have used) THE hydraulic program.
