I've used elite since the late eighties and still do. You're right about the automatic area assigning but that's gone now. That was in their older dos versions. The last update I got last month they added a nodal edit window which makes checking the individual areas easier but they still average the density on the summary page so you have to check the individual heads for minimum density. It will make sure all heads make the minimum though. I like the way it handles pumps by throttling the incoming pressure to give you you're overage in demand mode. I also have THE program but haven't played with it much, I do use Mark's pump software and it's great.
Tom Duross Go Red Sox Actually you can create any remote area shape you'd like, and individually assign areas of coverage of various sizes for each head. The biggest area we've ever calc'd with it was 5000 Sf and the spacing wasn't symmetrical, just that the smallest area of coverage for an individual sprinkler head was 80 Sf and the largest 120. Yeah the system overflowed quite a bit, but what you gona do. Thom McMahon > It assigns the area of coverage for ALL heads in the remote area by > dividing the size by the number of heads.
