How about.....thanks for your response? I confirmed with the FDT folks that even with some of the new nifty toys they have created in the newer versions, this DEFINETELY is a no-no. See response below.... 1. The tie in lines create a grid and the system is not able to calculate a gridded dry trip time system. We have no plans to develop this further since NFPA does not allow gridded dry systems. We have validated through full scale model tests in the 90's that gridded dry systems are not viable.
