I have a facility in North Carolina who is having pressure fluctuations in the water supply such that their CPVC systems are bursting due to overpressures. They have recorded pressures that easily exceed the 175lb limits of the systems.
What would the recommendations of the forum be to keep the pressures down to a reasonable level? (Pressure regulating valve?) Will any hydraulics analysis be necessary when any device is installed in the system? Anyone in North Carolina want to contact me concerning this work? Thanks in advance.
