We've done a number of DOD projects and have used a Croker 6800 series Fire
Pump Test Connection, between the FDC and The System. We then ordered a
custom plate Branded just "Test Connection".

Subject: RE: foward flow test

This is for a DOE project and the comment I received form them states; show
the pipe and valve configuration at the sprinkler system riser that will be
installed to perform the required forward flow test of the system backflow
preventer. The pipe configuration and discharge point must be capable of
flowing the design water demand for the system.

I showed a detail that included a zurn backflow going to an alarm check and
on up to the FDC then to the riser.
