For what it's worth, my inspection process consists of a visual look at the control valve and BFP when I cut the yard. Visual of the sprinklers occurs every time I walk in the room. Since the system is fed off an upsized domestic line, I know the water supply is there. Waterflow alarm test doesn't happen too often though; the riser's installed in an inner wall and I'd have to run a garden hose out the garage door to do it right.
I used to worry about the insulation that surrounds the CPVC drops running down through ceilings, but therapy has helped that. Paul S Johnson Bardane, Inc.
