We have an architect that wants to use QR sprinklers, not residential in a facility. It is independent living, not extended care. some rooms have 3 closets, all less than 24 sq.ft. There are 4 sprinklers throughout the living and bath area. Including the closets, the total area may be 600 sq.ft. I am wondering if there is any way not to include all 3 closet sprinklers in the remote area. I thought I might not have to looking at 11.2.3.3.5 (2) (2007 edition) since they might qualify as communicating spaces with protection, but after rereading don't think so. Any ideas.
