I believe we're going way back before Spiro to the caste system in India. "Around the world in 80 days" had an illustration of some of its pitfalls.
In this case, I'm referring to those that take 10 seconds to see the pressure requirements for a new sprinkler, skip the installation guidelines and restrictions, don't bother getting a copy of the 2002 #13 since they still have a perfectly good 1996 edition... Those that don't participate in this Forum or similar means of educating themselves for what we all do and many of us take seriously- as if lives depended on us. The Ignorant. And I'm certainly not taking a position that a caste system is good- 1st class air travel excepted. glc -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Todd Williams Sent: Monday, November 02, 2009 5:05 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Incompatible products with CPVC What is interesting in the case I originally posted this about is that pipe from 4 different manufacturers was installed on this job. All of the failures occurred with one manufacturer. I am prevented from going into any more detail because there is pending litigation. As soon as I can, I will. BTW, this is the same job from my other post where the ITM contractor showed up for the test without tools. "Unwashed", GC? Isn't that a simplification of "the great unwashed" which I believe was a quote by Spiro Agnew?
