I'll disagree with Steve. Room is less than 24 sqft, not greater than 3 ft in the least dimension and does not contain a fuel fired appliance. Plus it is accessed from the outside so even though it is within the rectangular perimeter of the structure it is essentially an exterior closet. And even if it were accessed from inside I'd say it meets the spirit of those small exempt spaces.
