I am looking at a project where a company will back a full size trailer into a building and retrofit it with electronic equipment (think big mobile news truck). Only one trailer will be in the building at a time. The rest of the facility will be electronic assembly and 14 ft rack storage of electric equipment. I'm thinking I have to look at this as extra hazard group 2 (similar to manufactured home assembly - due to the shielded fire potential). I am getting a lot of resistance from the architect, contractor and the owner that it is not that severe since it is only one truck and only occupies 10% of the space. The space is wide open with no enclosures. Am I on target with this or over-engineering yet again?
