Simulate almost-full semis/lorries were used as design fires
for the European Runehamar tunnel fire tests in Norway.
It was surprising that solid commodity (mix of
plastic and wood) could create a fire of 200 MW.

200 MW fire is equivalent to a constrained pool fire
(or pool fire with liquid deeper than 2 mm) of
gasoline that is more than 10 yards across with
intermittent flames to 35 ft in the air.

There are caveats:

Fire growth is initially slow inside trailers,
Fire ignition is rare inside trailers,
most semi (heavy goods vehicles) fires start in the
rear of rigs with a brake failure and overheating, or
up front in the engine compartment/driving cab.
Fires were burned on open steel racks to simulate the elevation of
the trailer, only there were no trailer enclosure
Fire load was not representative of worse-case loads
Ventilation, fans, open doors with wind --> will obviously
decrease fire duration and time to full-involvment while
       increasing peak HRR.

These have the potential to be big fires-- that fortunately don't
      happen all *too* often,
accidentally, in vehicles parked in non-public occupancies.
