I've got a sister in Michigan with a masters from Columbia in library
science, I can volunteer her time readily. She'll be retiring in a few
years, her husband already did. Can we house this collection in Ann Arbor,
that's near her, centrally located in the USA, and they've got a big place
where they used to play a pretty mean game of football that's available.
Save em a lot of embarrassment to house an FPE collection instead of being
whopped repeatedly.

Hehe a little early this year......

Bill,

When Ron Mellott died he gave his to the local SFPE and I house it at
the college. I tried to get the librarian to create a special
collection but she wouldn't. I don't really have the space, time or
training to do much more with it than store it so it lies pretty
fallow. Cecil may be able to better administer yours but I'd doubt it.
He's busy with his projects and, like me probably has no space, time
or training to deal with it usefully and properly. Maybe fire guys
need to set up a library on Franklin's model for Philadelphia wherein
subscribers have to bring a library to the table and then have access
to the libraries of all other subscribers. Sort of like the Forum
works already but another aspect. Listening there Mr. Muncy. More work
for you guys.
