Rich people keep their 'spensive stuff (furs, paintings, antique cars)
in special buildings and I don't know of one with sprinklers.
Prevention is the strategy used. If your Renoir, George's Picasso, my
Pizarro, and Todd's da Vinci need to be stored and kept safe each is
put in a tight fitting fire-safe and stored in a concrete room in a
concrete building with minimal combustibles if ant and limited (very)
access. Even the wiring is at an explosion proof level (rigid conduit,
potted conduit fittings at entries and exits to and from explosion
proof junction boxes, etc.
