George, Maybe I'm missing something but the lights are only 2' wide and are not an obstruction based on the section you have mentioned below. I don't think you have any issue here.

According to NFPA-13 (2007) Sec. 8.6.5.3.3 it seems I need Coverage under a 4' wide fixed obstruction. My sprinklers are 5' above the lights. Do they need to have ceiling tiles in place around it or is there a solution I am missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
