Before we all jump into this particular thread again, let's remember that there 
are water districts out there charging $5,000-$8,000 per service for 1" meters. 
  We have to remember that there is more to the cost of the system than just 
the portion that goes from service entry to the last sprinkler.     That said, 
please let me know where this work is being sold, as I'll meet you there for 
cocktails.
