I've seen the hose allowance taken at the base of the riser and seen it taken
at the Source node at the connection point of the riser to the underground
service main. It really depends on your layout, whether you have internal hose
connections or not.

Subject: Hose allowance

Hi.
I remember that the hose allowance is added in the hydraulic calculation in
the node where the remote area ends over the cross main.
Some people tell me that should be at the base of riser. We just purchase
AutoSpring and the software do this addition on the pump room
What is the way this should be?
Regards!
