You mean you can't do what I saw a competitor do- drop 1" down under AHU's to
feed an EC25 in a Lowes?
Yes, they were replaced despite his claim that Chet's firm said it was ok.
The competitor had little credibility, a fledging firm that tackled way too
much and sank quickly.
You can't stay in business when you bring in 100,000 Sf of pipe with 3/4" wols
for 1" EC25s so it was scrap;
Instead of putting a 14" blind flange on the tank for temp situation, he bought
a non-UL FM gate and installed the $4,000 answer to a $200 question.
We finished it up.
For those with younger memories, this is where the AE allowed flushing 14" UG
with one 1.5" hose.
Yes, pump test had some background noise and projectiles in the stream.

I'd be FOR contractor licensing if it was more than the locals or state cashing
a check.
Would you test for stupidity?

Wasn't there a condition the pipe feeding the head had to be the same size as
the BL it was taken off of? Is that also coming through to NFPA?

this issue was also looked at at the ROP Meeting (proposal 13-486) and the
current position is to accept (there has not yet been an official
ballot)
