It's not like an adequate water supply It's a connection through which the fire
department can pump "supplemental water" into the sprinkler system. How much
water does it take to supplement the supply?

Should equal the "unenforceable language" flow.

Like an "adequate" water supply. Or until recently, "reliable" power supply.

I will need some guidance on how to calculate the "supplemental" flow not full
flow through an FDC.

It isn't appropriate for 13 to change? Just because it is the same piece of
equipment doesn't mean that they have the same objectives or levels of
criticality.

Try submitting a proposal next cycle showing the friction loss and try to
change it. WHat is the loss at 250 gpm and 500 gpm?
