It has always been my understanding that any specific requirements in a sub section refer the that section only IE: 8.4.7.2.1 only applies to section 8.4.7 Large Drop Sprinklers. I have had some AHJ's try to apply things like this across the board, but I can usually get a clarification from NFAP to settle the matter.

Please straighten me out! This applies to CMSA heads only? Galvanized pipe, where used in a normal dry system must be figured at a C=100?? Thanks!
