Is anyone running into these things lately? How are you handling them? I have never really been a fan of these things. A customer has a job where the builder is wanting to use these tiles to eliminate the need for sprinklers at the ceiling. We did the shell space and there are 155 degree uprights at the deck. This is 1st floor of a 4 story building.
The tiles are rated at 165f. The sprinklers will have to be changed to 200F so the sprinklers will activate after the tiles fall. What is your thoughts on these things?
