I was not referring to a catastrophic failure, I was trying to elude to the 
fact that the owner paid for a compliant system when it went out to bid, only 
that upon his first 5 year inspection he had to pay to install caps to perform 
that task , when they should have been installed the first time. Not doing it 
right on the installation, gives him a bad taste for the industry. He probably 
did not want sprinklers in the first place. The AHJ or his insurance company 
mandated them. 
We need owners to view us as allies, not money grubbers, to further the 
industry and life safety.
