If you are in the 2016 edition don't automatically assume you can eliminate due to clearances less than 6". There are cases where you don't. Also note in older editions it is 6" from top of pipe to point of connection to structure. I doubt you will find longitudinal bracing listed for cpvc. You will have to put a short branch (same size as main) perpendicular to the main and brace that with a lateral brace to act as your longitudinal brace on the main.
