You're right! I tried /usr/local/bin/sqlite3 -version an it reports the correct version 3.5.2:
xabita:/ xabriel$ /usr/local/bin/sqlite3 -version 3.5.2 I cannot remove the old one as I know some Mac programs (Mail, Safari, ...) depend on it.
