Hello, all. I'll cut to the point.
I've got a Mac filled with FLAC files. I've got an Onkyo TX-8160 stereo network receiver. I'd like to get the two wirelessly speaking to each other via DLNA (since my wireless choice on that receiver is either DLNA or Airplay). I've fiddled around with Universal Media Server and Plex, so this isn't -totally- foreign to me. Ideally, I'd like to access my Mac/FLAC library remotely via iPeng (or similar) on my iPad and feed the music to the Onkyo. Where I'm confused is to which plugin I'd need to enable to accomplish this: Andy's UPnP/DLNA Media _Interface_ or Phillipe's UPnP/DLNA Media _Bridge_. Yes, I've searched and read a bunch of explanations...still confused as to which and why, or if either, advantages/disadvantages. As they say on Reddit: explain like I'm five. :o ------------------------------------------------------------------------ RoyalScam's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=72440 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115709 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
