I've been using squeezeboxes for several years now (since '03, I think) and this is the first time I've seen something like this happen. For one thing, Squeezenetwork didn't exist before so the problem was impossible to have, but even so, this is not normal business practice for them. There have been some teething problems with the Rhapsody support. I have full confidence that the team will work them out and learn from this experience to make a smoother experience for customers in the future. I've seen many hardware manufacturers roll out buggy software and you have virtually no recourse to get it fixed--the software's just buggy and you learn to deal with it. Slim responds quickly and I've learned to trust that they'll do right by their customers. I love that my hardware just keeps getting more capable (largely as a result of the software development). It's a pretty cool thing--in a year or two who knows what your SB will be capable of?
