You're totally right; re-reading my post it comes off as more negative
than I intended.  While I still stand that if mass-market acceptance is
a goal Slim has to present a face that's less
tech/programming/hobbyist-oriented, I am confident that Slimserver is
making endeavor to make this stuff easier and better.

I absolutely agree with that sentiment.  As a long-time Slimserver user
but a recent Squeezebox owner, I definitely recognized that this
investment was a gift that would keep on giving, and for that I can
only thank Slim Devices very much!  :)
