Is there any device I can buy (hopefully for less than the cost of a wireless router!) that will allow me to "beam" the stereo output out of my computer into the SqueezeBox?
All of my computers in the house are currently wired through my router, but this technology looks like the solution I've been hoping for, for quite a few years, now. (I tried to fund a graduating Electrical Engineer friend of mine to do something like this for me in the late 90's, as his senior project. He said it was theoretically possible...but decided on something else...hmmm...) I see that I can still buy the Logitech Wireless DJ Music System solution out there in a variety of places for under a hundred bucks...which looked like a good deal until I read some of the reviews. And it's obvious that Logitech is heading toward the SB as the "real" solution...but it seems they're now selling it without the "missing piece" where they actually send the music out of the PC.
