The squeeze box is not a wireless sound card, it does not take the audio output from your PC and play it through your stereo, it is much more advanced than that :)
Have a look at the beginners guide in the wiki: http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?BeginnersGuide If all you want to do it send the output of yous PC to a stereo, then look for "audio senders" you get ones for video that you could probably use just for audio.
