I have been in correspondence with the BBC about my inability to pick up their broadcasts via SqueezeNetwork. This is what they said:
"If you are in the UK, you should be able to stream all of the BBC's national radio stations live in Windows Media Audio format using your Internet Radio. If you are unable to play either of these streams on your Internet Radio, you could try testing them on your computer to see if you are able to connect to them from there. If you are able to listen in this manner, this would suggest there is a problem with your Internet Radio and you should contact the manufacturers. If you require more assistance, it would be useful to know if you are able to listen live to any other Windows Media Audio streams from the BBC. If not, please let us know what error message, if any, you are seeing/hearing." I've tried the Radio 3 URL but (as before) it times out. I've tried it direct from the internet, and it works fine. It therefore seems there is a problem with Squeezebox. Has anyone else had this problem, and been able to solve it? It is desperately frustrating!
