Pleased you found a solution that works for now. The .mp3 streams are a very recent and welcome development (there's a whole long history as to why the BBC chose real format which I won't bore you with but was a combination of the requirements of the BBC charter and being very early adopters of streaming technology).
However, I'd definitely recommend persisting with AlienBBC. If you're on a fairly standard install (Windows or the more common flavours of Linux) it should be fairly straightforward. You can access anything that's on Listen Again...catch up on the Archers for example. When problems arise, they tend to be related to installing mplayer (on Windows, this is done for you by the install program) or firewall issues. Happy to talk you through it on or offline if it would help. -- Siduhe ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Siduhe's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=723 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47319 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/squeezenetwork
