Thanks for the suggestion, but the ethernet cable is not the problem. I've tried wired, wireless, and plugging directly into the router, so that's three different patch cables, and a separate cable directly to the router.
Like I've mentioned previously, the problem appears to be with the router blocking certain packets, or failing to recognize the SB3 to allow it to communicate with the internet.
